Sophie Goes to Nursery

We started dropping Sophie off in nursery last October when she reached the ripe age of 18 months. Things went well until our church time changed from 11am to 1pm. After the time change, nursery time encroached on nap time, and it became an entirely different game.

One of my old work buddies sent me this video, and it is pretty damn close to my nursery drop-off experience this past Sunday. Sophie is the "irritated" lady, I play the role of the kind but clueless elderly man trying to console her. The nice nursery lady plays the part of the young gate worker/enforcer with the radio.

PS: According to the nice nursery lady, Sophie pitches a fit for about 10 minutes before falling asleep in the corner for the next 90 mins.

Nice!! At first I thought that my new computer was malfunctioning (or that my old brain was). But when my brain finally kicked in, how hilarious! I want to know what the lady in the airport was saying. But then there's a similarity to Sophie, I don't always know what she's saying either. Thanks for the laugh.

P.S. There are times at school that I'd like to throw a fit like that. I'll keep that video in my memory as an alternative to "a happy place" to go when things get stressful!

I am rolling on the floor. Dominic shows a little of that during 1:00 sacrament meeting. He just gets up and leaves like he can't take one more second of it. Can't say I blame him sometimes!
